Body Mass Indicators are a simplified way of determining wether you are over or under weight! In general a body mass index of around 20-22 is the perfect score area. Less than 20 you are erring on the thin side! Over 23 you are starting to endanger your health! If your BMI is 27 or greater, you are in need of medical assistance and a prescription diet pill such a phentermine is a possible solution for you. Scores of above 30 are in the danger zone!

BMI is generally a reliable indicator for most people between 19 and 70 years of age. This is not a reliable indicator for:- women who are pregnant or breast feeding, competitive athletes, body builders and chronically ill patients.
